My little "Yes" Man and "No" Man

I have been wanting to blog about the boys talking but I could never seem to find the time. Of course now that I have the time, they have changed things up. Oh well. It was still cute so here it goes.

I have a little "Yes" man and a little "No" man with me everywhere I go. Andrew says "yes" to everything. While Nathans first and only response seams to be "no". Both boys understand what we are asking, understand the difference between yes and no, and can communicate them. If Andrew's answer is yes he says"yeth" in a soft cute voice. If his answer is no, he shakes his head. Nathan on the other hand says "no" first to everything you ask in a loud "Collins Voice". Often times he is in the middle of saying "no" when he realizes that he actually wants to say yes and quickly shakes his head to change his mind. We all find ourselves asking Andrew questions all the time just to hear him say yes, because it is so cute. I also find my self asking a ton of questions to Nathan becuase he says no so often it is hard to understand what he wants. He is becoming so independent and has so many things he is trying to comunicate he just does not have the vocabulary to do it yet. He jabbers constantly, and is so serious when he talkes. He has important things he is saying, we just have no idea what they are. We are enjoying watching them learn how to talk. But the jabber is so funny we are going to hate to see it go.

Halloween

My Two Little Builders. Since N&A love tools and enjoy banging on everything I decided to have two little construction workers for Halloween. At first they both hated their tool belts that Nana made them. But I made them stick it out and they soon forgot they had them on. I am sure Nana's tool belts will be a ton of fun in the future when they give it a chance and realize they have a big pocket to carry things in.

We loaded up into the car and visited our first house, Aunt Kelly.

Nathan was all ready to go build things.

We put the boys on the pool table to try and contain them for a few second to get a shot of both of them. This is the only one we got. The jumped right off the table into Daddy's arms.

The loved walking from door to door and pulling their wagon. We brought it along intending for them to ride in it. I should have known better. They both took turns pulling it the whole night.
They boys knew how to knock on the door but at first they didn't understand that we don't go into the house. Several of the houses had dogs, which excited Andrew and then upset him when we had to leave. About half way through our evening the boys understood how to grab candy out of the bowl and put it into their bags. They also learned how to eat the candy with the wrappers on. Nathan was also good at going in for seconds and thirds. This worked especially well when Andrew was busy going after the dogs. It gave Nathan more time to gather the goods. Brad and I took a break and sent the boys out to the last two houses with Papa, Nana, and Babci. Of course they were on their best behavior for them and only took one candy. With everyone at home Nathan and Andrew sat at the front door with Babci hading out candy. This quickly turned into a game of grabbing candy out of the bowl and trying to escape with it while laughing.
After a fun adventure in trick-or-treating the boys were exhausted and sat down to watch a little movie to calm down for bed.

It was a successful second Halloween. Just think, next year there will be 3 of them!
