Moments Caught on Camera

Family Movie Time. Andrew has a high fever and there is nothing better for a sick baby than a Baby Einstein Movie.

What can I say. Baby Einstein is captivating. Even I find myself in a trance when I watch it.

Story time with Nana.

Apparently one is never enough of anything. He has been working on this for months. The first time he was successful putting two in his mouth they fell out when he attempted to add the third.

Adventures, Observations, and Lessons

And this all in one week.

-The boys who love the new and unseen had an adventure going through Brad's bathroom cabinet. They dug through ever treasure by first chewing on it then throwing it aside to find a new and possibly better discovery. Once all the treasure was dug up, Andrew staked his claim on the by crawling into the cabinet and under the sink.

-I learned that 103.9 temps are not as scary as they once were. However, they are still not very fun especially when there is no other symptom to figure out what is going on. The good new is Andrew seemed to only notice his temp once it was above 102. Anything less and he was normal monkey self.

-Nathan likes to stick his hand in anything including but not limited to mommies food, Vaseline, Andrew's poopy diaper.

-Nathan understands the shortest distance between himself and the computer is a straight line. Even if that strait line is climbing onto the ottoman and jumping off it and onto the couch. For those of you wondering he landed on the edge of the couch feet down, a little startled but OK. Unfortunately he was still not able to reach mommy's computer.

-Andrew fell forward and hit his mouth on the edge of the chair then lost his balance and fell straight back hitting his head on the tile. Both Mommy and Andrew survived our first bloody injury.

-Nathan is deciding that he prefers breast feeding over the bottle and sippy cup. When I tried to give him the cup he pushed it away in protest. When he was not sure I got the point, he reached for the cup with the sole purpose of chucking it across the room in discust. I tried to calm him down by giving him his pacifier. This too found its way through the air as he gave me a look as if to say "how dare you try and pacify me with this thing."

Peanut

This is my precious little peanut. Nick named Mommy's Peanut shortly after he was born, he still lives up to his name. Yes, at first it was because he literally was a peanut. But it still sticks today. Something about his funny giggly, determined, observant personality still spells peanut to me. So we could not resist doing a photo op in a pile of peanuts. I knew the only way to even begin to get a picture was to put him on the table. Something about being "on top of the world" makes his personality come to life.

Mommy's peanut

Not really liking the way these things feel. Notice how he is trying to lift every part of his body away from the peanuts.
Not a big fan of the outer shell.
Franky Mommy's peanut found the whole experience quite odd and a little unnerving.

Revenge is sweet...

Or in this case Nathan finds it crunchy and dry but still yummy.

Andrew and Nathan were both enjoying a stick of celery when Brady (our dog) snatched their treat right from there hands. Neither boy cried or fussed and just kept playing. Nathan however decided to get Brady back and crawled right up to the dog food bowl and started eating the dog food. So take that Brady. You are not the only one who can steal someone's food.

This post is dedicated to Uncle Trav in hopes that this brightens your day.

First Fall Fun

So the calendar says it is fall but in AZ it still feels HOT. Ok, so it is no longer in the triple digits but it is still to warm. Never the less the boys are enjoying their first fall. They have been eating pumpkin, although Andrew is not quite sure if he likes it or not. He prefers to chew on gourds. Here are a few highlights from October. I apologize for my overload of pictures. What can I say. I am a proud momma who is obsesed with capturing every moment on camera.

Boy's Dedication
Jason Fischer did an amazing job leading us in dedicating our boys to the lord and praying over us. Thank you Jason for everything you do.

Here I come you better catch me.

Uncle Trav's Visit
Our favorite uncle came for a visit. Unfortunatly we were not having a great week. We were teathing, constipated, and recovering from surgery. That and Mommy was all crazy doing tons of stuff and kept coming and going. But even with all the crazyness we did have time to love on Uncle Trav.

Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

Our trip to the pumpkin patch was an adventure. We had fun as long as we were being held. Mommy and Daddy kept sitting us on this rough pokey straw. You would have cried too, if you had to sit on it.

Gourd to the rescue. The only thing that was able to sooth Andrew. Nathan is busy clapping after Grandpa.

I am not quite sure of this.

I don't like pumpkins. I want a gourd. Where is my gourd?

FIRST HALLOWEEN!!!
Halloween is a lot of fun. We enjoyed dressing up in our costumes and going trick or treating. We both thought brother looked funny in his costume and giggled at each other. We also had our first chocking experience, both of us with in seconds of each other. That was not so much fun. Mom and Grandma need to give us smaller pieces of ice next time.
