This year we decided to let the boys join in the fun of pumpkin carving. They were both not up for cleaning out the pumpkins. After some coaxing we convinced them to stick their hands in, but once the tips of the fingers found the gooey mess they came out in total disgust. There was no more convincing them cleaning pumpkins was fun. So they made Daddy and Mommy do all the dirty work. However, once the pumpkins were clean and Daddy gave them little carving knives they were ALL IN!

Andrew carved the eyes on the pumpkin on the left pumpkin all by himself. I am already looking forward to next years creativity.
